1.   The Winner's Curse & Crime.
2.   A Court of Thrones & Roses.
3.   Queen of Shadows.
4.   I'll Meet You There.

7.  Snow Like Ashes.
8.  None of the Above.
9.  The Start of You and Me.
10. Carry On.

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

Finnikin of the Rock.  It seriously let me down.

 3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

The Improvable Theory of Ana & Zak.  I really didn't have any expectations going into it and it was super quirky and cute!

 4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did)?

The Stand by Steven King, but my mom read it, does that count? haha!

 5. Best series you started in 2015? Best Sequel of 2015? Best Series Ender of 2015?

Best series I started:  A Court of Thrones and Roses
Best sequel of 2015: Queen of Shadows
Best series ender: Re-read of The Lunar Chronicles

 6. Favorite new author you discovered in 2015?

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

Bad Feminist. Not that feminism is out of my comfort zone but non fiction can be stressful for me to get through. I would always rather be reading a story.

 8. Most action-packed/thrilling/unputdownable book of the year?

Queen of Shadows!  That book was so intense and was basically how I spent my Memorial weekend.

 9. Book You Read In 2015 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

Oh man, We've designated 2016 being the year of rereads so I think there will be a bunch, but definitely A Court of Thrones and Roses.

10. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2015?

The Winner's Curse & The Winner's Crime.  I'm a sucker for a gorgeous dress cover and she has a sword. Come on.

11. Most memorable character of 2015?

Annie Wilkes from Misery. Bitches be crazy.

 12. Most beautifully written book read in 2015?

Dante and Aristotle Discover the Universe.

13. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2015?

I Am Princess X. This might sound like a silly life changing thing but this book was half comic book which I never really thought I'd be into, but man, I LOVED it and now I can't get my hands on enough comics.  2016 will be the year of the comic book!

 14. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2015 to finally read?

Vampire Academy. I read the first 4 books and I seriously need to finish up this series.

 15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2015?

It's from our Rainbow reread of Landline.  This will always be my favorite book quite. It just resonates.
“You don't know when you're twenty-three.
You don't know what it really means to crawl into someone else's life and stay there. You can't see all the ways you're going to get tangled, how you're going to bond skin to skin. How the idea of separating will feel in five years, in ten - in fifteen. When Georgie thought about divorce now, she imagined lying side by side with Neal on two operating tables while a team of doctors tried to unthread their vascular systems.
She didn't know at twenty-three.”

16.Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2015?

Shortest: The Deadly Dozen: American's 12 Worst Serial Killers by Robert Keller.
Longest: A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin.

 17. Book That Shocked You The Most

Probably Six of Crows. There was so many times I thought they were doomed and they squirreled out of the situation.

18. OTP OF THE YEAR (you will go down with this ship!)

Alex & Miles from Made You Up. If you didn't have a chance to pick this one up this year, do it in 2016! Such an great read!

The Start of You and Me. This book is friendship to the max! The relationships between the 4 girls made me heart eye emogis all over the place.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I'd read Smoke & Bone a few years back and it was super good and is a planned reread for 2016!

21. Best Book You Read In 2015 That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else/Peer Pressure:

I don't think anyone really peer pressured me into reading anything. But a book that was super hyped that I had to read was Simon vs. the Homesapiens Agenda and it did not disappoint!

St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss.

23. Best 2015 debut you read?

An Ember in the Ashes.

26. Book That Made You Cry Or Nearly Cry in 2015?

None of the Above.

27. Hidden Gem Of The Year?

Snow Like Ashes. That one surprised me.

28. Book That Crushed Your Soul?

Royal Wedding by Meg Cabot. If you haven't read The Princess Diaries you have failed at life. Get on that because Royal Wedding had me in a puddle of goo.

29. Most Unique Book You Read In 2015?

Rainbow Rowell, Carry On. If you read it, you probably get what I'm saying.

30. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

Dorothy Must Die. And I really didn't like it even though I thought it had the most potential!

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2015?

To be honest, sometimes I get so wrapped up in my hobbies I forget to stay fresh in the blog world.  I don't think I've stumbled across any new book blogs this year, but my all time favorite book blog is The Perpetual Page Turner.

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2015?

Rainbow Rowell reread. Rainbow Rowell always.

3. Best discussion/non-review post you had on your blog?

I'm super into our outfit posts. I enjoy every step that goes into those posts.

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

Obviously this would be the Rainbow Rowell event we attended this fall.  She complimented my cat sweater, it was amazeballs. Maybe the best moment of my life.

5. Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2015?

Obviously this would be starting TheBestFriendBookClubBlog with Heather! We'd been scheming about this for a while and it was so exciting to make it happen! It has been such a fun friendship journey!

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

I think the most challenging thing was just establishing a blogging rhythm and a blogging voice. I really struggled with the blogging voice. How do you not come off sounding like a robot?

The one with the most views was Summer of Rompers. But rompers are pretty damn cute.

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

Book discussions, always.

9. Best bookish discover (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

Comic books, hands down.  I'm not certain if this absolutely fits this category but I'm still floored by how much I fell in love with them in the last few weeks of this year.

10.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

1.  I set a goodreads book challenge to read 75 books and I've read 93 and I bet I'll finish a couple more before the end of the year. That number is bananas.
2. At the beginning of the year I wanted to discover the world of Steven King.  I read 3 of his books this year and every one of them were amazing and creepy as hell.

A Thousand Nights by .

2. Book You Are Most Anticipating For 2016 (non-debut)?

A Court of Fury & Mist.

3. 2016 Debut You Are Most Anticipating?

A Study in Charlotte by  .

 4. Series Ending/A Sequel You Are Most Anticipating in 2016?

Oh man, I'm DYING for the conclusion of The Raven Boys. They've teased us with the release date a couple of times and I'm seriously jonesing for that series reread.  That world is so mysterious.

5. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging Life In 2016?

I think maybe do some individual reviews about the books we are reading independently instead of discussing everything thing we read together. For the most part, Heather and my tastes are pretty similar but I think it is always interesting when one of us stumbles onto something that the other might not pick up without the other's guidance.

6. A 2016 Release You’ve Already Read & Recommend To Everyone:

I wish!

  1. I really need to hurry up and read Carry on! I read Fangirl earlier in the year and absolutely loved it. I also really want to check out The Winner's Curse. It sounds amazing! I also love your blog; I'm a new follower. :)
    Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian

    1. Rainbow's characters never disappoint! The Winner's Curse is also a great choice. I can't wait to re-read the series in March with the release of the final book.
